Practice, Practice, Practice! In school you typically learn a subject...take a test. What about what SHOULD happen in between the two?

Practice, Practice, Practice!

In school, typically you learn a subject, you do some homework, and then take tests.  At the end of the year, you have an annual test to measure what you learned for the year.  Of course, what gets left out is that somewhere between learning a subject/doing homework and taking tests, you have to practice, practice, practice.  You really have to practice a subject a few times before you really learn the material/master it.  The more complicated the material, the more practice you’ll need to be proficient.

What’s the point?  The point is that I’ve learned in addition to learning the material throughout the year, you’ll want to get some additional material that your homeschoolers can use to practice those newly acquired skills.  We take time throughout the year to continue practicing and reenforcing those concepts that were learned during  the school year.

Ideally when it comes time for end of year tests, confidence rules the day and it’s an easy accomplishment for your homeschoolers!
